Mr A M Naik inaugurated a primary school named Srimati Pushpaben Desai Prathamik Shala on December 1, 2021 to cater to the growing need for high-quality education in the nearby villages. Members of his family were present with him on the occasion.

The event was also graced by Mr. S N Subrahmanyan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Larsen & Toubro and other senior management executives of the Company.

A part of the expansive Maninagar Education Complex at Kharel in South Gujarat, this primary school has a capacity of over 800 students from Grades 1-8th, and has a well-stocked library, computer lab, a garden and a large playground for facilities of football, cricket, volleyball and hockey.
