Gujarat CM inaugurates Nirali Cancer Hospital at Navsari
The Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri. Vijaybhai Rupani inaugurated the Nirali Cancer Hospital at the ‘A.M. Naik Healthcare Complex’, Navsari on 3rd April 2021. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister lauded Mr. A.M. Naik’s philanthropy and his commitment to social good as an inspiration for all citizens. “Turning personal sorrow,” he said, “into something that will benefit thousands is the noblest of gestures.”
Addressing the audience, Mr. A.M. Naik said: “This hospital is sure to bring in a new era of hope and assurance for the community and I am very happy to be able to contribute to my janmabhoomi. The desire to do something to benefit the community has always been part of my family’s tradition. I believe that if each citizen gives what they can, however little it may be – money, time or expertise – it adds up to the vast pool of resources – which can benefit millions across the country.”
Mr. Naik added, “It gives me great pleasure that the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat inaugurated the Nirali Cancer Hospital and propelled our vision to provide patients and their families the assurance of world-class medical service and care. We will continue to serve the community through the Nirali Memorial Medical Trust and walk with them in their fight against cancer.”
The inauguration ceremony, held with full COVID protocols, was attended by several political leaders including Shri C R Patil, Member of Parliament, Navsari. Mrs. Preetha Reddy – Vice Chairperson Apollo Hospitals and Mr. Ramesh Balasubramanian – Director, Apollo CBCC Cancer care also attended the function. Mr. Jignesh Naik welcomed guests and Mr. Y.S Trivedi, Advisor to the Group Chairman, L&T proposed the vote of thanks.
While the Nirali Memorial Medical Trust, founded by Mr. Naik, owns and manages the hospital, it will be operated by the reputed Apollo CBCC Group. Operations at the hospital cover oncology, diagnostics, nuclear medicine, radiology, and other services such as pain management and physiotherapy.
